🌍 Neutral & Inclusive Environment
Bachata Studio Tallinn is a space for dance, connection, and growth, not for political or ideological debate. We ask everyone to respect each other’s views and keep studio spaces neutral and welcoming for all. Let’s focus on what unites us: music, movement, and community.
💃 Dance Floor Etiquette
We want every dancer to feel safe, comfortable, and respected on the dance floor.
- Consent is key. Everyone has the right to say no to a dance — always respect that.
- Respect boundaries. Adjust your dancing style to your partner’s comfort level.
- Maintain personal hygiene. Fresh clothes, deodorant, and clean breath help everyone enjoy.
- Be aware of space. Avoid collisions and take care of others around you.
- No risky moves (like deep dips, tricks or lifts) without mutual consent.
- Respect teachers and DJ’s. Listen, learn, and support the atmosphere of each class or party.
🩰 Classroom Discipline & Etiquette
To create the best learning environment for everyone, please:
- Greet the admin and your classmates when entering the studio.
- Do not walk in or out of class without asking the teacher first.
- Keep phones silent and away during lessons, unless absolutely necessary.
- Stay attentive, avoid chatting while the teachers are explaining.
- Remove your watch and any sharp jewelry for safety.
- Wear indoor dance shoes only in the dance halls.
- Show respect and appreciation for your teachers and fellow dancers.
A positive attitude and discipline are just as important as dance steps!
🍹 Alcohol & Substances
Enjoyment and celebration are part of our culture at the parties, but responsibility comes first.
- Drink responsibly at parties and know your limits.
- Intoxicated, aggressive, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
- The studio and all its events are strictly drug-free.
- If you’ve had alcohol, please don’t drive. Ask our team for help finding safe transport.
🏠 Respect the Studio & Team
Our studio is our shared home. Let’s take care of it together.
Treat the space, mirrors, sound system, and furniture with respect.
- Keep the changing rooms tidy and dispose of trash properly.
- Follow any safety or hygiene rules shared by staff.
- Be kind to admins, volunteers, and teachers, they work hard to make your experience great!
Sexual Harassment Policy
At Bachata Studio Tallinn, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students and participants. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of sexual harassment, misconduct, or inappropriate behavior.
