Our Social Dance Competition will be in a Jack and Jill format, where every participant competes individually.
That means that you don’t need to join with a partner, as dancers will be matched up randomly and everyone will be evaluated individually and not as a couple. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity. But the most important thing is that you will have fun and challenge yourself!

We will have only one category of competition:
✦ Level: Open Level – Teachers are allowed
✪ Participation Fee is 20€.
✪ To compete in Jack & Jill you need a Full Pass or Party Pass. Single Party ticket is not valid.

▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
1) TECHNIQUE: in bachata elements, cleanliness, styling
2) MUSICALITY: matching the style of the music (Sensual, Fusion, Dominican). Following the music structure, rhythm and musical elements, e.g. accents, breaks, syncopations, etc.
3) CONNECTION: leading/following skills and quality, the ability between partners to understand each other and have fun
✪ Every dancer will be judged individually either as a Leader or Follower

✪ Dance couples will be matched up randomly
✪ You must be prepared to participate 15 minutes before the competition starts
✪ Your number tag should be displayed visibly during the whole competition
✪ Participants will rotate dance partners in every round
✪ Acrobatics over the head or when both feet are off the ground are forbidden
✪ Respect each other by using appropriate language
✪ Everyone is welcome to participate, from Improver to Advanced
✪ Teachers are allowed to compete
✪ Above all, the key rule is to… Enjoy yourself and have fun!
